Roman Stäbler has a deep and broad foundation of technical knowledge owing to his studies of electrical engineering and his subsequent work in the industry. In his work as a patent attorney he focuses on computer and electrical engineering. His extraordinary linguistic finesse allows him to convince examiners in patent granting proceedings and secure claims like no other. Due to his international mandates he has accumulated lots of experience with the major patent offices around the world (Europe, USA, Japan, China).
Carom billiards is a variant of the game where only three balls are in play, making it a sport of absolute precision. Roman Stäbler loves focused concentration and mentally navigating complex scenarios, which he experiences both in his hobby and at the office. Whether it be with billiard queues or patent documents, winning the game means being able to think many steps ahead and mentally exploring the situation to always be one step ahead of the opposition.
