Dr. Finklenburg studied physics and astronomy at the University of Bern, where she received her doctorate in planetary physics. In her dissertation she dealt with the dynamics of thin gases in comet atmospheres. In addition to scientific questions, she has also been interested in legal issues for a long time. Since 2014 she has had the opportunity to combine the two at Keller & Partner.
The vast expanses of space and comets in particular have always fascinated Susanne Finklenburg. She even wrote her PhD dissertation on these small celestial bodies. What is it about the inconspicuous core of a comet that leads to its striking appearance? The fundamental mechanism of how small details can affect the big picture has occupied Susanne not only at university, but continues to inspire her in her work as a patent attorney.
